Futurismo Biologists TeamToday we went to the sea with the sun shining in the sky. Finally, it looks like the good weather will last for some days. Maybe it is here to celebrate Carnival with us!
The ones that were with us during the morning, were the common dolphins again. We found several groups, some of them curious, some others foraging, and some others totally indifferent! Our guests were delighted with them playing beside our catamaran.
From land, our lookouts manage to see a big animal, however not easy to identify. We have tried from the sea, but Nature is like that! Today it was not the day for whales.
Our guests showed a lot of interest in learning more about the species we sight, and they enjoyed looking at the guides we have on board, as well as asking about our research.
Today we have even seen one shearwater!! We miss them since they have gone last November. During the last couple of months, we have just seen some individuals alone in a few occasions, but soon we will have more of them back. Hope tomorrow the big whales will be visible again.
