In such a windy and wavy weather, a great diversity exploded in front of our eyes!

Firstly, starting the trip close to shore we saw a small group of bottlenose dolphins which were quite elusive, though we were able to watch its stylized and delighting bodies when they approached to the boat.
A short time afterwards, we were surprised by two sei whales, which we accompanied curiously during a long time of its trip, retained by its breathtaking seize.
Suddenly a group of sperm whales were sighted so we went quickly to their position, which was closer of the coast than usual. On our way to find this species, one of our boats briefly observed a pod of lovely common dolphins. Once arrived at the area of the sperm whales, we were able to identify a group of females with claves that were travelling quite spread. These giants of the sea live in matriarchal pods conformed by up to 4 generations of sperm whales. Females live together all their lives, being the “grandmas” the leading ones which make the most important decisions!
After a time of enjoying these amazing animals, we started our returning to the harbor with a sensation of great satisfaction of the species spotted today! We were just ending the trip when we sighted a fishing boat of squids, which might explain the position of the sperm whale so close to the coast.
Besides, during our trip we observed a few flying fish, as well as our more reliable companions, the Cory’s shearwater.
If you want to enjoy of the animals in the wild, .
