This morning, we went to the blue. And it was such an amazing day, we spotted three different cetacean species!
Sperm whales were around and we saw several individuals going for a feeding dive showing the tails.

Then, our lookout spotted 3 Sei whales close to the area where the previous sperm whales were, so we went to had a look to the third biggest animal species in the whole world.

Finally, to end the morning trip in a perfect way, we saw a group of
common dolphins full of babies. They were very curious and coming very close to
the boat.

The afternoon started with an encounter with the third largest animal in the world. Three miles away from Ponta Delgada we found 3 kind sei whales. They were very calm so we could enjoy to see them.
Suddenly, our lookouts told us to continue our trip in order to find the biggest toothed cetacean of the world. It was a sperm whale, one of our resident species. Once this sperm whale fluked, we realized that there were 4 more individuals in the same area, and of course we went to see them until they went for a deep dive showing their tails.
To finish our trip, we spotted a group of common dolphins very curious and playful with some calves. There were even some genetic variations of common dolphins without the yellow part so we call this individuals the black edition.
