Sperm whales and dolphins today in São Miguel

Not even the intermittent rain made us miss the sperm whales that, for a few days, were not around.

The highlight of the day, when a group of spotted dolphins joined a sperm whales’ family where there were two offspring!

We also had the opportunity to observe common dolphins and, being Sunday, day of coastal boat trip along the south coast, several locals joined us at this peaceful tour.
