Our first Bryde’s whale of the season in Pico

The two past days we still had with some wind and tricky sea conditions in the south of Pico. Luckily, with the precious help of our lookouts and our directional hydrophone to listen to the echolocation clicks of the Sperm whale, we were always able to find the most emblematic whale in the Azores!

Beside this, we also encountered groups of Risso’s dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins and Pilot whales, and we had our first Bryde’s whale of the season.
