Today our most famous sperm whale, Mr Liable, was with us again. we encountered him during our tours both in the morning and in the afternoon. As usual he showed us his fantastic tail nice and high, especially in the afternoon when he raised it exceptionally high. We also have baleen whales passing by the Azores every now and then at this time of the year. In the morning we were with a sei whale, that seemed to be feeding and so was difficult to watch, but in the afternoon we had a nice fin whale mother and calf pair that we got to see very well. As for dolphins, we encountered a large active group of bottlenose dolphins in the morning and a group of Atlantic spotted dolphins in the area of the fin whales in the afternoon.
