Dolphin day with common, bottlenose and Atlantic spotted dolphins

Today was a dolphin day! There is no better way to see these animals than in the ocean, where they belong. In the morning tour we found a big group of Atlantic spotted dolphins that were feeding together with Cory’s shearwater. We could see the school of mackerel (the species of fish that these dolphins and birds feed on) from our boat, maybe looking for shelter under the boat! After seeing the dolphins feeding we continued our tour finding a group of common dolphins, one of our resident species. In the area where we saw the Atlantic spotted dolphins one of our lookout could see a blow from a Sei whale, the animal was really complicated to see, maybe it was feeding so we couldn’t see it but our clients enjoy their time with the dolphins very much.
In the afternoon tour the boat for the swimming with the dolphins was lucky enough to find a pod of bottlenose dolphins; these dolphins can reach 4 meters in length so they are really impressive to see under water. The whale watching boats found two species of dolphins again, the same than in the morning tour! They were friendly with the boat so we could take beautiful pictures of them!
