Different whale species in the morning and in the afternoon

Today we had a day with very different tours in the morning and in the afternoon tours:
In the morning we continued to see baleen whales on our tours, as now is the time
of the year that they are migrating south to spend the winter in warmer
waters. This year we have been lucky to see some of these whales on
their southbound migration. We encountered a whale which
was difficult to watch as it was frequently diving and only coming up
for one breath each time, but most likely it was a sei whale, the third largest animal in the world. We also encountered a large feeding group of Atlantic spotted dolphins near the area of the whale, and closer inshore we had a nice group of common dolphins.
In the afternoon we had a tour in wich we saw some bottlenose dolphins, the group was large but they were very spread out, some of them were feeding; some of them were just swimming around; some bowride our boats for a while. After the dolphins we went to the area were our lookouts had seen Mr. Liable, the most famous sperm whale of Sao Miguel diving. The area was very close to the area were we have seen him for the last days, it may have found some very big squids over there! We waited for a long time but it was worth the effort as it appeared close to the area and we saw him for a while before it went again to a deep dive, showing its tail again. Afterwards a little bit more of time with the bottlenose dolphins.
