Today it was a wavy day out on the ocean, but the
conditions made a great playground for our resident common dolphins.

encountered many dolphins spread out over a large area, some of them surrounded
by Cory’s shearwaters and probably searching for fish, and many of them playing
in the waves.

We got to see the dolphins really close to our boat as they were
surfing the waves next to us, often many of them coming with their faces out of
the waves in unison.

During our ride back to base two of our guests also spotted two different loggerhead turtles which we also got to see close to our boat.
