Today we were rewarded by a magnificent Bryde’s Whale, bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins.
The Bryde’s whale was very curious and having a super interesting behavior, rolling all around its body, with the belly up… Amazing! Unfortunately, we did not manage to capture her breach, but it was a blessing for all aboard!
The bottlenose dolphins were socializing and feeding. We were happy to see several babies. And we also saw the dolphin who has a hook around his beak. In the last trips we have encountered this dolphin several times, so we decided to name him “Hook”.
We ended the whale and dolphin watching trip with a giant group of Atlantic spotted dolphins feeding along with Cory’s shearwaters.
Nature is always incredible!
