Finally, baleen whale season has arrived! As you know, this year it has been a little bit unusual, because whales didn’t arrive in big numbers till now!
Today, finally, sei whales in the morning and fin whales in the afternoon! Yes! The second and the third largest animals in the world were with us! 😉 We saw two sei whales in the morning, and three fin whales in the afternoon. We were missing them so far! A great day at sea, with two different species of whales, both of them travelling; and with hundreds of common dolphins again.

And our clients, enjoying all the time! Specially for one of our little guests, Simão; a 5-year-old marine biologist! He knew everything about so many different whales and dolphins, including the right whale and the bottlenose whale! Incredibly smart.
And today he learnt about the sei whale, and about the size of a blue whale, which is much bigger than one of his favourite dinosaurs, the Plesiosaurus.
