Today we have encountered 4 dolphin species: bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, Atlantic spotted dolphins and striped dolphins. The bottlenose dolphins were alone in a large group that was incredible to watch. The other smaller dolphin species were encountered together in several mixed species groups. These mixed groups were also seen together with birds (Cory’s shearwaters, yellow-legged gulls and terns) as well as tuna. We got to watch the feeding frenzies as all of these species were feeding together.
