Today has been a nice and busy wintersday of whale watching and swimming with dolphins with Futurismo. We had tours both in the morning (whale watching from the catamaran and swimming with dolphins from our zodiac) and afternoon (whale watching on the zodiac). The morning was spent with common dolphins and a group of at least 7 sperm whales to the east of Ponta Delgada. In the afternoon our onshore watchman surprised us by finding a large humpback whale close very close to shore. In the afternoon bottlenose dolphins and common dolphins were also sighted, bringing our count up to four species for today!
