Today we went out to the sea with the zodiac and it was a marvelous trip, with a calm sea surrounding us and the sun always shining and keeping us warm.
After some time traveling westward, we met a numerous group of bottlenose dolphins spotted by our lookout. We saw them quite well and also had the opportunity to notice some juveniles which is not so common to see in this season of the year.

After some time enjoying being with them, we started to try our hydrophone to search for echolocation sounds in the water and we happened to find a pod of common dolphins. These curious dolphins stayed the whole time really close to our boat so we got to see them really well!
Last but not least, as we wanted to find some sperm whales, we continued trying to listen to them through the hydrophone. Finally, their sound was heard so we followed it and found 4 sperm whales together, 3 adults and one small calf with just some months of life.
It was a beautiful summer day in the middle of the winter!
