Minke whale in beautiful Autumn day!

Another beautiful day, with even more sun than yesterday! And of course, with great sightings.
The morning started with a huge group of common dolphins. We truly love this species, the more we see them the more we like their unique colouration and their fluent way of bow-riding with our boats.

After that, we had a really rare sighting: a minke whale! It was swimming very calm next to our boat and we could see its characteristic white pectoral fins when it swam right under our boat.

The last sighting of the morning was a group of Atlantic spotted dolphins, full of babies. Probably is one of the last sightings of this species this year, soon they’ll leave our waters for warmer areas of the Atlantic Ocean.
In the afternoon we saw again common dolphins, probably the same group as in the morning. We tried hard to find other animals but we had no luck, although the visibility was great and we had the help of our lookouts we have to remember that we are working with wild animals in their environment and not the other way around.
Good weather will hopefully stay with us a bit more. Let’s enjoy it!!
