Balanced day

What a balanced morning. We saw two resident species and two migratory species … which in turn 2 species of whales and 2 species of dolphins. We then saw common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins who were super busy in search of their breakfast. Then we set off in search of something bigger … fin whales and a large blue whale. At first they were a bit shy, but in the end they decided to take a look at our boats.

In the afternoon we were very lucky to see three big fin whales constantly travelling (quite fast!) very close to our boat. While with those whales, we were seeing blows all around, and one of them was our next stop, a big blue again! Also some of our boats enjoyed the presence of the playful common dolphins.

Let’s wait for tomorrow.. another great day is about to come!
