Today we had a wonderful morning!!
Our lookout guided us towards an area
where he saw some blows. We stopped the boat and suddenly we saw a big body
emerging completely out of the water!! 😀 What a big surprise: Humpback whale!!

We were delighted with an amazing show of breaching, chin slapping, tail throw,
lob tailing, pectoral fin slapping and even swimmed underneath our zodiac! We
saw about 10/15 breaches and we were all
so excited!!

Good news on the radio: another blow! Sperm whale time ? We saw on total 3 sperm whales (2
adults and a calf). These individuals belong to the group we are seeing on
these last days!

In the afternoon, we sighted more whales, but this time, fin whales! The
second largest animal in the world passing by our island. We managed to see two
of them, constantly traveling both together. We really enjoyed looking at
them.

Then, we continued our trip to see sperm whales again. We managed to see
another tail, a different one than this morning. Let’s check if it belongs to
the same group as the last few days!

And then, if the whales were not enough, some of our boats saw hundreds
of dolphins. Common dolphins and striped dolphins together! Beautiful!!
Amazing!! And to swim… bottlenose dolphins, nice and friendly.
