We were observing all the resident species. The bottlenose dolphins welcomed us on the morning sea. It is always a pleasure to find them because though they can be seen throughout all year we don’t see them so frequently as other species of dolphins, like Risso’s dolphins.
In the morning, we found a group of Risso’s females quite close to the bottlenose dolphins. And in the afternoon, we were with what it seemed to be a pod of juvenile males.
After being with the dolphins for a while, we navigated southwards to see a big male sperm whale who, after resting at surface, fluked and went back to the big depths.
We were also able to watch feeding frenzies with the common dolphins and Cory’s shearwaters foraging all together in the beautiful Ocean.
