A beautiful and intensive day with lots of animals! We
left Ponta Delgada and found some bottlenose
dolphins not long after. They
were a bit shy and elusive with us, so we continued our trip because our
lookout had found more animals for us.

We arrived at an area full of sperm whales
and they even delighted us with a sudden breach, beautiful animals, full of
strength!

Next stop was some Atlantic
spotted dolphins but something
incredible appeared before: a sunfish! We even got underwater footage of it! These unique
fish can reach up to 4 meters and weight more than 2000 kg. It’s the biggest
bonefish.

We then proceed to see the spotted dolphins, they were
full of babies and were actively interacting with our boat. Beautiful morning!

In the afternoon the rhythm didn’t decrease. Lots of
sperm whales, we could identify some by their tail: Tonga with its unique white
patch.

Again, we found Atlantic
spotted dolphins from one of our
boats and we came back to Ponta Delgada eager to have another day full of adventures.
