Today we encountered a lot of dolphins of four different species! In the morning we started with a small group of bottlenose dolphins, that included two individuals we know very well and refer to as “Bubblemaker” and Lady. A bit further we had a mixed group of common dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins, who seemed to be hunting together. Even further to the west our catamaran came across an active group of striped dolphins. In the afternoon we re-encountered all but the later species. We got to see a lot of different behaviours today and it was also a great day to see baby dolphins, including quite a few newborns. This is one of our favourite times of the year!
