Today the sun came out accompained by big waves and some wind, but that didn’t stopped us from going out and spending some time with the beautifull cetaceans of the Azorean sea.
Our encounter today was with bottlenose dolphins, a giant group of them with adults, juveniles and calves.
These resident animals are wonderful to observe in the wild, and today, although the rough weather, they were traveling very calmly approaching us and jumping just beside our boat, unfortunately, these dolphins are still one of the species that are frequently taken away from their families and kept in captivity, but we believe that going to the sea, and observing these animals under their terms, do what they want and when they want, is the best and most respectful way to enjoy them!
