Futurismo’s Full Day tours are in full swing now. On this day we had another full day with a group of Dutch clients from Tui. During our whale watching tour in the morning we encountered sperm whales (5 individuals), bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic spotted dolphins. After the whale watching we went to Vila Franca and had a local lunch in a restaurant above the marina with a view of Vila Franca Islet. We spent a wonderfull sunny afternoon snorkelling in the islet and enjoying the wildlife. At the islet we saw fish including the ornate wrasse, rainbow wrasse, white seabream, goldlines, parrotfish and damselfish. Birds such as yellow-legged gulls, common terns and roseate terns, Cory’s shearwaters, rock pigeons and a buzzard could also be seen around the islet this afternoon.
