What a beautiful day! In the morning we saw sperm whales on the surface with their young.
Not even 1 mile away we could see a small group of Atlantic spotted dolphins. These dolphins pass through the Azores during the summer, so we say they are our tourists summer dolphins, they come here because the water is warm. Even reaching Ponta Delgada we found a fabulous group of common dolphins.

We also found remains of a squid floating near our boat and bring to our base.
In the afternoon was also magnificent. We had sperm whales everywhere, like popcorn. Everywhere we looked we had a blow. One of the animals spotted was our “Whitehead” with a calf.
Again, when arriving at Ponta Delgada we found the group of common dolphins that were just around the dock. Fingers crossed for tomorrow to be as good as today.
