Fin whales close to Vila Franca

This morning we went out and we had several fin whales spread out close to Vilafranca, one zodiac was with two of them and our catamaran and the other zodiac were with other two fin whales.

Also we could see some bottlenose dolphins checking these whales but then they leave. Moreover, when we were coming back to Ponta delgada we spot a group of common dolphins.

In the tour of the afternoon, we were with the same whales in the same area. But this time they were a little more shy. Nature is like that, and we have to understand it and respect the marine life.
