What a wonderful morning we had today at sea! As a first sighting, we met a humpback whale! Before we got to the area, we could already see her blow!
It was a large humpback whale that made everyone really excited. We believe that it may have been a female because when it comes down to the size of males versus females, the females win as they are larger than the males. Although it was a cloudy day, we could see this whale perfectly and its white pectoral fins underwater. It was great to enjoy the company of this humpback whale.
Then, aboard our catamaran Cetus, we saw a small group of common dolphins. We saw them briefly because today these dolphins did not seem to be in the mood to show themselves to us.
To finish the trip, we saw a very good group of bottlenose dolphins. They were very active, jumping and playing with the waves caused by the boats.
It was an incredible morning, and hopefully more baleen whales will come out to visit us after today!
