Today our onshore watchman spotted a sei whale for us. A great find, especially for this time of the year. The whale was travelling south leaving the island, so we were lucky to see this whale before it continues its migration to warmer waters further south from here. As well as the whale we also encountered several groups of common dolphins, some of which were feeding together with Cory’s shearwaters and great shearwaters.
