Futurismo’s Full Day Tour

During the summer months Futurismo offers the “Full Day Tour” This package consists of whale and dolphin watching in the morning, a lunch of local food (with the choice of freshly caught fish) in Vila Franca do Campo and an afternoon of snorkelling and relaxing in Vila Franca Islet. On this day we had our full day tour with a group of Dutch clients. The morning was spent on our boat “Song of Whales” and although we didn’t encounter any whales we had some great encounters with bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic spotted dolphins and common dolphins. The sea was perfect, basically it couldn’t get any better. We also had the chance to observe seabirds such as the Cory’s shearwater, common tern, roseate tern and yellow-legged gull. After a relaxed lunch in Vila Franca we made the crossing to the islet where we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon exploring the wildlife of the islet. Below are some photos from this day:
