\nThis morning we had some more great moments with sperm whales<\/a>. We encountered a whale family that we know from previous encounters with them here in S\u00e3o Miguel as well as other areas around the Azores. One whale in this group was first photographed by us back in 2006, 10 years ago. Another whale in the group is very easy to recognise because its dorsal fin is missing. We don’t know how this happened, but we have named this whale “Kima”. Today we encountered at least 10 whales from Kima’s family, giving our clients some great memories of their time in the Azores.<\/div>\n
