\nWe were
\nback to the sea today! We started the day with a group of <\/span>bottlenose dolphin<\/a>;
\nthey were really calm approaching to the boat several times. The clients could
\nappreciate the size of the animals when they came close to the boat, bottlenose
\ndolphins can grow up to 4 meters!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nOnce the
\nbottlenose dolphins were well seen we head far away from the coast to the area
\nwhere the look-out found a family of sperm whales. <\/span>We could
\nsee around 9 <\/span>sperm whale<\/a>s spread out in the area. The behavior of the animals
\nwas difficult for observation; they were doing shallow dives for a long time
\nand keeping the distance with the boats.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nIn the
\nafternoon tour we saw one more species: <\/span>common dolphin<\/a>s. The group was really
\nbig, we had about 80 animals in the area including calves and juveniles. We were luckier
\nwith the behavior of the sperm whales in the afternoon. They were logging at
\nthe surface\u2026 we could even heard their breath! Once we finished the observation
\nof the family we start heading back to Ponta Delgada but we had a nice surprise
\nwaiting for us\u2026 Mr Liable! The big male that we have seen for the last few days
\nwas once again in the area. The sea was with the perfect conditions to take the
\nperfect pictures of its tail.<\/div>\n
