Today the beautiful and rich Atlantic Ocean greeted us with 5 different species of cetaceans!<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp; <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The day started with a little group of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a><\/span>, we didn&#8217;t stop for a long time as bigger animals were waiting for us. With our two boats, we went to different areas because we were seeing different blows.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/3-5.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/3-5.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">In the end, we could all see a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sei-whale.html\">Sei whale<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span>, the third biggest animal in the world. Very calm, with long and steady dives. This last month it&#8217;s been full of baleen whales!<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/9-2.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/9-2.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/5-6.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/5-6.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">After that, and some miles further out, the famous <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sperm-whale.html\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sperm whale<\/span><\/span><\/a> Mr Liable appeared. We arrived just on time to see its fluke one more time, its movement it&#8217;s so elegant, so unique way of diving. There were also some bottlenose dolphins swimming in the area that made our wait way more enjoyable.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/8-2.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/8-2.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a> <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The morning continued with <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #0b5394; font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\">Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a><\/span><\/span>, lots of them, interacting with birds and with a big ball of fish in the area. They were approaching a lot to our boats. What a great sighting.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/6-4.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/6-4.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Last but not least, we found our loved <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\">common dolphins<\/a><\/span> right before arriving at Ponta Delgada. The day was a great opportunity to appreciate the differences between three species of dolphins: colouration, behaviour and size.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;<\/span><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/7-4.png\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/7-4.png\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">What a day!
