Today in
\nS\u00e3o Miguel we were leaving the rain behind on land with a nice rainbow in sight and went out to see several
\ndolphin species both morning and afternoon. Like common dolphins<\/a> feeding with Cory’s shearwater<\/a> in the
\nmorning or being social and mating in the afternoon. Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a> travelling in the morning and being curious towards the small boats in the afternoon. The bottlenose dolphins<\/a> were presenting a
\nspectacular show in the morning and in the afternoon they were surfing and mating. In the afternoon the zodiacs were lucky to see the rare
\nsighting of beaked whales<\/a>. The sighting was so good that it was possible to identify the species as Blainville’s beaked whale<\/a>. Also a loggerhead turtle<\/a> was giving
\neverybody the chance to have a good look at it.<\/p>\n
