{"id":612,"date":"2018-01-10T15:50:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-10T15:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/10\/first-sperm-whales-of-year\/"},"modified":"2019-11-22T22:37:14","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T22:37:14","slug":"first-sperm-whales-of-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/first-sperm-whales-of-year\/","title":{"rendered":"First sperm whales of the year!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning&nbsp; we went out and we encountered for the first&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sperm-whale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sperm whales<\/a> of 2018! When we arrived to the area where the whales were, our looking warned us that they were swimming very fast and making many short dives; it was not the easiest day but in the end we managed to see a calf and two adult togheter later on.<br \/>\nOnce the sperm whales were well seen we continue our&nbsp; tour to see some <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">common dolphins<\/a>; a big group appeared and in contrast this ones were very curious swimming with us, bow ridding our catamaran and making some small jumps.<br \/>\nToday was a very pleasant tour, we hope to see over and over this beautiful animals this year!<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #0b5394;\">Photos from this morning:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;
