\nAfter 3 days in a
\nrow we finally were able to go out to the sea! And it was an amazing return.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn the morning we
\nstarted with a very famous group of <\/span><\/span>sperm whales<\/span><\/span><\/a> here in S\u00e3o Miguel. It was the
\nOrcas’s group. Orca it’s a big female that it has been sighted around the
\nisland since 2003 meaning that apparently, they find in Azores a good place to
\nstay around. It was a group of minimum 10 individuals just staying in the
\nsurface for some times of time. In the end, three of them still showed us their
\nmagnificent tails. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe second species of
\nthe day was the <\/span><\/span>bottlenose dolphin<\/a><\/span>. It was a small group but very curious with
\nthe boat and surfing the big waves all the time. <\/span><\/span>

\n<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nWhen returning to Ponta
\nDelgada we found a big group of <\/span><\/span>common dolphins<\/a><\/span> feeding very close to the
\nharbor. We stayed a little bit with them and then return to land.<\/span><\/span>

\n<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nIn the afternoon we
\nstarted with common dolphins also very close to the harbor but this time it was
\nnot such a big group and they were not very interest in us. They were just
\ngoing around and paying more attention to the waves to surf than the boats. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/p>\n

\nAfter we went further
\nsouth and we found the same group of sperm whales from the morning, Orca’s
\ngroup again! This time they were all together side by side making it possible
\nto see the different sizes of the different individuals. They also stayed sometime
\nin the surface and some of them started disappear into the deep ocean.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
