\nOn this beautiful and sunny day, we have seen four
\ndifferent species of cetaceans: bottlenose dolphins<\/a>, Atlantic spotted<\/a>, common dolphins<\/a> and sperm whales<\/a>! <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nIn the morning all our whale watching boats saw three
\ndifferent species of dolphins. Bottlenose dolphins were very close to our boat,
\ngetting curious and having a look out of the water.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn the group of common dolphins, plenty of calves were
\naround, swimming beside the adults, as fast as them almost without moving. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nAtlantic spotted were very very spread out over a very
\nlarge area. Probably it was the same group we saw yesterday, but divided in
\ndifferent subgroups. We could see dolphin splashes all over in the horizon. May
\nbe again a thousand dolphins! <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nIn the afternoon, some of our boats did see some
\ndolphins, but…<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nBut the stars of the trip were, without any doubt, the sperm whales.
\nOur catamarans saw a big family with at least 11 whales together, including
\nthree calves. One of them at some point split apart from the group and went for
\na deep dive, but the long waves didn\u2019t let us see the complete tail. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nJust when we were heading back to land, the calf that
\nwas with the one who dived, decided to jump a bit far from us. A fantastic way
\nto say goodbye! <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nOur zodiac travelled further and encountered another
\ngroup, with at least 7 whales. One of them jumped as well out of the water, and
\nthey kept on travelling slowly.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nTo notice, how many calves, both of dolphins and
\nwhales, we have seen this summer. Wish them to keep around for a while!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
