Today we had a very sunny day and a calm sea. We started our trip by going East where we were surprised by the first sighting of the day &#8211; common dolphins, but the biggest surprise of all was the show that these dolphins gave to And you know what? Between them, we were able to see one of our most famous female sperm whales &#8216;Orca&#8217; that has this name due to the white patch that she has in her back. After a good time, they decided to dive, and was time for us to leave and go back to Ponta Delgada. A group of around 300 approached our boats once again and made us company for some time on our way back. This group was full of calves riding beside their mothers. This is very common in this time of the year, as this is a seasonal species, that comes to the Azores due to its warm waters. Besides this, some of our boats also observed beaked whales that we weren&#8217;t able to identify and bottlenose dolphins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped\"><ul
