Throughout the day we encountered 5<br \/>\ndifferent whale and dolphin species in a very calm ocean. In the morning we<br \/>\nstarted with a small group of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/striped-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">striped dolphins<\/a>, that included some really tiny<br \/>\ncalves leaping out of the water.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; The common dolphins at the end of the morning more<br \/>\nthan made up for it though, as they were very playful around our boats.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\">In the<br \/>\nafternoon our different boats had different sightings, but with all of us<br \/>\nseeing both whales and dolphins. Some got to see two blue whales &#8211; a mother and<br \/>\ncalf pair as well as common dolphins, while others got to see two very calm and<br \/>\ncurious fin whales as well as Risso&#8217;s dolphins and common dolphins.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot;
