For the entire time we had dozens of dolphins surrounding us, jumping, socializing, spyhopping and entertaining our guests in the best way possible! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Something sad got the attention of the crew, that was plastic stucked to the dorsal fin of two dolphins. This is a problem that we&#8217;ve been often noticing, the presence of plastic. Hopefully everyone starts reducing the use of this material instead of throwing it away! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/plastic.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption>You can see the yellow plastic underwater<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After a while, our lookouts still hadn&#8217;t found any other species since they were looking even further away from the island to try and spot some whales which unfortunately did not happen, but a couple of minutes after looking closer to shore they discovered a great group of common dolphins, socializing and very calm.
