Our boats continued going to the south and suddenly they found another species, the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\">bottlenose dolphin<\/a><\/span> that was not alone. It&#8217;s not common to see these species in the same area, because bottlenose is a resident species but Atlantic spotted dolphins are seasonal in the Azores.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/1.png\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/1.png\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The clouds started to lift up so we returned to the harbour and we met again with the first pod of common dolphins.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">For the afternoon we headed out expecting to see some animals and we received a sea filled with common dolphins, starting out with a smaller group with a lot of calfs and juveniles so they did not come as close.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3.png\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3.png\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">We left them to search for a different species and we could find another group of common dolphins, this time it was huge. More than 200 dolphins all around the boat!
