\nWe spent today in the company of a group of sperm whales<\/a>. It is a group of several females and
\nyoung sperm whales that we have been seeing since at least 2010 and it has
\nbecome our second most encountered sperm whale group here. <\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn the morning we
\nencountered and photographed 3 different adults: one we call
\n“Lobtail”, another we call ” Elsemiek” and finally
\n“Angel” who we saw together with a calf. <\/span>In the afternoon we
\nre-encountered Angel with the calf as well as Elsemiek again. Throughout the
\nday we could enjoy seeing their tails as they went on their deep feeding dives.
\nAs well as the whales we also encountered dolphins today. <\/span>

\nIn the morning we had
\na lot of Atlantic spotted dolphins<\/a> spread out over a large area and they even
\napproached one of the sperm whales that we were watching. We also briefly
\nencountered some common dolphins<\/a> in the morning and from one of our boats a
\ngroup of bottlenose dolphins was seen. <\/span><\/div>\n
