\nvery long mid water dives. Did you know that male sperm whales are much bigger

\nToday we had a cloudy day in Pico Island. <\/span><\/span>
\nIt was the first time our marine biologist Rui Santos (who’s been doing whale
\nwatching tours for around 10 years) managed to take a picture of the same sperm
\nwhale within a 40 minutes interval. Normally, female sperm whales dive for around 45 minutes. <\/span><\/span>
\nIt was a well known individual here in
\nPico. It was diving deep to reach its favourite snack: squid. <\/span><\/span>
\nAfter that we
\nalso found a group of around 10 bottlenose dolphins.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/span><\/div>\n
