\nWe had a calm morning on the water and also
\nin the afternoon first flat sea and later on a bit more wind. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nOn both tours, we
\nmet three different species of dolphins from the smaller Common Dolphins to the
\nmiddle sized Bottlenose Dolphins and then the even bigger Pilot Whales.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn the
\ngroup of the latest species, we had a big number of calves also some tiny
\nnewborns. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nIn the afternoon we had to go much further east to reencounter them
\nbut this time they were at the beginning interacting with the Bottlenose
\ndolphins and later in the area of Roseate and Common Terns. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nNor the Pilot
\nwhales neither the Roseate tern are frequently seen, what made this day quite
\nspecial.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nToday in Pico Island we had a group of female
\nsperm whales which we know very well. They were socializing and we get to see
\nthem in the morning and in the afternoon as well. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nWe also saw a group of male
\nrisso\u2019s dolphins and some sowerby’s beaked whales very curious about our boat. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nAnd in the afternoon we encountered a sei whale very active. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
