\nToday in S\u00e3o Miguel Island we had a very exciting day full of action! In the morning we saw three different dolphin species, our resident species; Atlantic spotted dolphins a very big group, very social and curious. It was a very big group full of babies so we spent a nice time in their company and finally the always welcome stripped dolphins with their typical behavior in our waters, jumping a lot, swimming very fast and changing direction.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn the afternoon we went very far away after stopping with the bottlenose dolphins to see sperm whales!  We saw at least three of them socializing.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nA hammer shark was also seen, very shy as usual but very interesting to see.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn Pico Island, the day was perfect as well. We saw one of the female sperm whale group that comes here every summer on “holidays” and also a big group of curious spotted dolphins.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
