This species, so well known to humans, are quite social and curious and often approach the boats to bow ride the waves produced by it, surfing along our movement and making the delights of also this so curious human beings!&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"-webkit-font-kerning: none;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2-5.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"600\" data-original-width=\"900\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2-5.jpg\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"-webkit-font-kerning: none;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Although by the beginning of the morning our lookout sighted this species in the same area as the <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/pilot-whale-spp.html\">pilot whales<\/a> by the time of our arrival, they were already distant from each other. The pilot whales\u2019 pod was composed of two bigger individuals \u2013 perhaps two males- and the adult females with numerous juveniles and at least two calves. Among the first bottlenose pod, there was an already well-grown juvenile <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/caretta-caretta-loggerhead-turtle.html\">loggerhead sea turtle<\/a>!<\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><span style=\"-webkit-font-kerning: none;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">The turtles &#8211; as all the Reptilians \u2013 don\u2019t have any natural mechanism to warm their blood, so they are always dependent on an outside energy source.
