\nDo you know that the
\nAzores are great for baby sperm whales? The last few days prove it! <\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
\nToday we
\nhave seen a family of sperm whales<\/a>, with several animals in the area, and of
\ncourse, with babies! In the morning our lookout found the sperm whales
\nbreaching, and when we arrived, they were resting calm on the surface.  In the afternoon, we have the opportunity to
\nsee a very small animal, probably born some days ago! It made us thought about
\nthe \u201cBaby boom\u201d day recorded a couple of years ago. If you didn\u2019t see it yet, go for it!<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n

\nWe also saw a huge and
\nfriendly group of bottlenose dolphins and some common dolphins as well. In the
\nafternoon, while waiting for the sperm whales to come up to the surface, two
\nbreachings were seen far on the distance. <\/span>Northern bottlenose whales<\/a> confirmed with our photos!<\/span><\/div>\n

\nIn Pico Island, the sea was wavy but it was not a problem for us to see 4 different species. <\/span><\/div>\n

\nWe saw our resident
\nspecies: common dolphins<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nOn our trip today,
\nwe also saw pilot whales<\/a> and spotted dolphins<\/a> a<\/span>nd striped dolphins<\/a>,<\/span> three species which visit the Azores mainly during the summer.<\/span><\/div>\n
