In the morning we were very lucky on S\u00e3o Miguel Island. We saw 4 species of cetaceans! We passed by a huge group of feeding common dolphins<\/a>. Then we spent some time with leaping bottlenose dolphins<\/a>. Later we found pilot whales<\/a>, which were resting on the surface together with common dolphins which were quite active with some Cory\u2019s Shearwaters. <\/span><\/span>

\nThen we went a little further and we found 2 sperm whales<\/a>. In the afternoon, after a little rain, the sun decided to appear! We met our friends from this week, the green family of sperm whales we’ve seen in the last few days. And just before entering the harbor, surprise!! A nice pod of common dolphins with many babies! We hope that tomorrow we will encounter many of these beautiful cetaceans again!<\/span><\/span>
