Always active, jumping, socializing and feeding. It was a great way of saying goodbye to them, soon they will leave our waters to go south pursuing warmer areas.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"c-mrkdwn__br\" data-stringify-type=\"paragraph-break\" style=\"box-sizing: inherit; color: #1d1c1d; display: block; height: 8px; text-align: justify;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: white; font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"color: #1d1c1d; orphans: 2; widows: 2;\">Our always loyal resident species were the next on the list of most sighted species: <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\">common dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/bottlenose-dolphin.html\">bottlenose dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sperm-whale.html\">sperm whales<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/rissos-dolphin.html\">Risso&#8217;s dolphins<\/a>.<\/span><span style=\"color: #1d1c1d; orphans: 2; widows: 2;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #1d1c1d; font-variant-ligatures: common-ligatures; orphans: 2; widows: 2;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThey always keep surprising us, also everyday is a great opportunity to get more photos of these beautiful animals for our Photo-ID ongoing projects.<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"c-mrkdwn__br\" data-stringify-type=\"paragraph-break\" style=\"box-sizing: inherit; color: #1d1c1d; display: block; height: 8px; text-align: justify;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\">The highlight of the month is probably the different sightings of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/sei-whale.html\">Sei whales<\/a>. We found them during eight of our trips. Once they were interacting with sperm whales off the coast of Mosteiros, something truly unique and memorable.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"c-mrkdwn__br\" data-stringify-type=\"paragraph-break\" style=\"box-sizing: inherit; color: #1d1c1d; display: block; height: 8px; text-align: justify;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\">Last but not least, we had several sightings of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/striped-dolphin.html\">striped dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/beaked-whale-fact-sheet.html\">beaked whales<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/pilot-whale-spp.html\">pilot whales<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"c-mrkdwn__br\" data-stringify-type=\"paragraph-break\" style=\"box-sizing: inherit; color: #1d1c1d; display: block; height: 8px; text-align: justify;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\">As for other marine species, we encountered some <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/06\/caretta-caretta-loggerhead-turtle.html\">loggerhead turtles<\/a>, numerous <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/flying-fish-fact-sheet.html\">flying fish <\/a>and even some species of sharks like a couple of <a href=\"http:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.pt\/2007\/07\/hammerhead-shark-fact-sheet.html\">hammerhead sharks<\/a> and a blue shark.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"c-mrkdwn__br\" data-stringify-type=\"paragraph-break\" style=\"box-sizing: inherit; color: #1d1c1d; display: block; height: 8px; text-align: justify;\"><\/span><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-family: &quot;arial&quot; , &quot;helvetica&quot; , sans-serif;\">All in all was a great month, with an ocean full of life.
