In both morning and afternoon trip, we moved to the west, out of Mosteiros to see the animals and we saw everything: females with calves, spy hopping, lob tailing, lob throw and breaches (and it even jumped with his mouth open)! At a certain time, we had about 15 sperm whales together on the surface! We started with a really big group of <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">spotted dolphins<\/a>, more than 500 of them and they were super curious about us! After that our lookout sent us to swim with the resident species in Pico Island, the <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/rissos-dolphin.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Risso&#8217;s dolphins<\/a>.
