However, despite the rain and the poor visibility at the beginning of our tour, a group of <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/common-dolphin.html\">Common Dolphin<\/a> was waiting for us just in the entrance of the harbour. We have had the opportunity to observe them playing with the waves. Little by<br \/>\nlittle the weather began to improve and became sunnier.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2-6-1024x576.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/2-6-1024x576.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"900\" data-original-width=\"1600\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/10-4-1024x576.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/whalewatchingazores.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/10-4-1024x576.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"900\" data-original-width=\"1600\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d; font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">After leaving the common dolphins a huge cloud of<\/span><a style=\"background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\" href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2018\/03\/corys-shearwater-different-matter-over.html\"> Cory\u2019s shearwaters<\/a><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d; font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"> and <\/span><a style=\"background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\" href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/yellow-legged-gull-fact-sheet.html\">Yellow Legged Gulls<\/a><span style=\"background-color: white; color: #1d1c1d; font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\"> helped us to find a very active group of Atlantic Spotted Dolphin, they were feeding together. It was a <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/sei-whale.html\">Sei whale<\/a> feeding as well. The <a href=\"https:\/\/azoreswhales.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/atlantic-spotted-dolphin.html\">Atlantic spotted dolphin<\/a> accompanied and guided us to contemplate the baleen whale, they have been very loyal. At first, they were a bit elusive and spread out. As time passed, they got more curious with our boats and we witnessed some amazing bowriding behaviour and high-speed traveling. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"background: white; color: #1d1c1d; line-height: 107%;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;\">We changed of area to find another species. Atlantic spotted dolphins this time. Intensity increased, there were splashes, bubbles and jumps everywhere. Lot of sound from birds were creating an amazing atmosphere in the area. We got amazing footage, even underwater.
