\nToday, our trip was to the West side of the island. Our lookout spotted a humpback whale, but it was very difficult to follow. However, we went to the designated area, at least to try our luck. Unfortunately, we did not find the whale. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span>
<\/span><\/div>\n
\nSo we decided to go to another area with some Risso’s dolphins<\/a>. We saw two animals: one older, almost white in totality and another younger. This is the way to distinguish the new animals from the older ones: through coloration. The Risso’s dolphins are born black or dark grey and over time they get lighter. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nAfter seeing the Risso’s dolphins, we met a big group of common dolphins<\/a>! <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThen, a little farther from the coast, another huge group of bottlenose dolphins<\/a> to end the trip. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nIt was a long trip but we saw three of our resident species. ?<\/span> The humpback whale was not in the mood today. Who knows about tomorrow… <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
