They can be identified by their sloping head and long beak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Azores,\u00a0rough-toothed dolphins are encountered only very rarely. In August 2010 a group\u00a0was sighted, the first time since 1995. The recent sighting was made south of\u00a0Pico Island by the team of Espa\u00e7o Talassa.
